At InvestorLoft we prefer questions what we feel, a better question is:
What can you do with 140 characters?
InvestorLoft has been actively involved in the Twitter online community for November 2008 (you can follow our feed and take the conversation here). It is here that we in with other real estate industry professionals, real estate investors and members of our local Denver community and beyond connection. Is a Denver-based business, there is no lack of enthusiasm we have for this city that we at home, and we are always looking for a way to give back.
Last night InvestorLoft was proud to be by participating in the monthly Denver Tweetup a part of the largest live collection of Twitter users in Denver-to-date. A gathering of 'virtual human', the event saw coming to socialize over 300 local business owners, entrepreneurs and other users of Twitter out in full force. Last night was something special, but: the event has been working to raise funds for the Food Bank of the Rockies. Flying dog brewery generously donated the refreshments for the event during one other local Denver business, Tuggl.com, worked with the Food Bank to make donations. Eventgoers generously donated $1261.50 translated to 5046 meals can now provide the Food Bank of the Rockies in need for Coloradans.
And it was all about Twitter. The people who attended last night of the event are thank are in addition to all the event volunteers, flying dog brewing and Tuggl.com. If it would InvestorLoft and our co-organisers of the power of Twitter and social media, could not this event last night to keep organized to get - we received 5046 good reasons for using Twitter! Our Director of communications, Erika Napoletano, is an integral part of the planning process for the Denver Tweetup events since its creation in December 2008. Out that first monthly event August's have steadily from 30 guests last night 300 to increase traffic. That's the power of Twitter.
If you are a professional using Twitter real estate questions you are: what can I do with 140 characters? As we said, the answer might surprise you. Sometimes it's not all about your business.
